Hi everyone

Si I'm currently fitting a new front mount intercooler, 3" dump pipe + exhaust, upgraded rad, bigger injectors, an upgraded turbo, egt, boost, water temp and oil pressure gauges to my 1996 KZN185 Surf.

Then comes tuning.

I've got a silicon chip/jaycar automotive voltage interceptor
( http://www.siliconchip.com.au/Issue/201 ... er?res=non flash ) that I can use to intercept the MAP sensor signal and remap it so that the ecu sees a maximum of 15 psi(or just under fuel cut pressure) when I'm actually running 20 psi. This will bypass the pressure fuel cut feature in the ecu.

This is where I'm getting confused.

Can I now simply turn the adjustment screw on the fuel pump to increase fuel to match actual pressure / flow?

And can I adjust the injection timing manually?

What type of egt readings should I be looking for?

Should I even bother with the resistor mod if I'm going this far?
