Hi everyone,

Thanks to all for the wealth of information here,

I have searched to no avail to find anything on this topic so hoping someone can help me...

I have a 1989 Surf LN130, 2L-T with the engine light on, have tried checking codes by bridging TE1 and E1, and rather than the engine light flashing, the glow plug light flashes. It flashes 4 times then pauses, so I assumed it was code 4 and replaced the coolant temp sender (the one above the starter motor), however after disconnecting the battery to reset the fault codes, the engine light is still on. In all my reading I have not come across anyone mentioning the glow plug flashing to show fault codes. Has anyone else encountered this? Any ideas what I should do from here?

Thanks for reading and look forward to hearing your experiences.
