Toyota 4WD Surf Owners

A request to all members to check their profile and include Vehicle Details if you have not already done so. I've noticed lately there is a number of members who have not done this and the number is increasing. It's getting very difficult to remember who owns what and having to do a search of previous posts to work it out is a real pain.

Hi Nev,

Maybe you could make it mandatory for people joining to put in a few basics such as engine type (e.g. 1KZ-TE) and (Auto\Manual), etc. which would automatically show in their profile. I know that this would make things easier for you. I don't think that this info is too invasive for anyone.

I think it would be of assistance if everyone was to put their actual location instead of "Over the Mountain" or "Crossing the mud puddle" whilst giving a little humor it doesn't help if someone is seeking assistance with finding a mechanic or a wreckers to get parts in Cairns and you are in Perth.

As the basis of a forum such as this is mutual help and cooperation the lack of knowledge reduces that ability to assist each other in a more effective manner.
