Would be interested in any suggestions on what the app should do,
other than a shortcut to the site. I could put together a android app
but would need help for a iphone app.

Reece.

I think a simple version of the forum would do.
Ability to view/participate in the threads.
pm function.

Maybe a main screen:
PM
Forum
Settings

Or something like that. Then in the forum tab all the headings. Probably no need to quote, just "reply" or "start new thread."

Yeah it certainly become easier when your working on the truck. Look at your phone for info & help rather than going into computer room start up and log in... Just as a wick reference like the tech site on the app?!?!?
That would be awesome I recon :D

An app for the forum board.. Guess you could make technical guides accessible through an app however

After a bit of research I think TapaTalk is the
way to go. Just doesn't work on this version
of PHP.

Will need to update to latest version but have
had problems converting the data base. Losing
to much info in the conversion.

Should get there soon.

Reece.

Well yes but is a lot of work, two ways to make the forum
friendly for all mobiles is to,

A. Build a mobile landing, basically a identical forum made just for phones.
Any mobile entering the site is directed there.

B. Build a very basic theme suitable for mobiles.
Any mobile entering the site and this theme is auto selected.

Before any of this will be best to upgrade the site, so not much will happen
until then.

Reece

I use the site 99% of the time on a samsung tablet with android. I browse in chrome so some features dont work. Tech site is one (plugin not supported). I would welcome an app. And would pay!
