I googled it more years ago than I can remember. When I found the site it was in it's original form and had only a few members. I am not sure when I joined but in that time I have seen 3 different versions of the site and watched it grow. We have had the car for 10 years now so sometime in there I spose.

I read it somewhere in a magazine 4wd monthly I think. Was a few years ago now but googled it and then joined. Was looking at buying a surf and did my research here. Thanks to everyone involved in putting together such a great site, you all deserve a huge pat on the back. Cheers

Yep I was there when it was in its infancy, and my goodness what a fine young adult it has turned into. Frank and all the other moderators, admin, managers etc should be very proud of this baby.

I was shocked to think I have had my Surf for near on 6 years. Still got the same horse float as well,,,when I find something good I hang onto it. Considering the probs some folk sadly have with their Surf I have been blessed (ssshhhhhh don't let the Surf hear that).

I orignally Googled Toyota Surf and bingo have been around ever since with a brief spell away due to life happening.

WOW cant believe last person to comment was a year ago, maybe need some sort of flag to highlight such important questions or make this a default page that loads automatically when you enter the site so as to get some serious feedback on how its working. I found it by just searching for TOYOTA SURF in Google =D>

Google search result for PNH989 -

"Your search - PNH989 - did not match any documents."

Probably a good thing.

your right v6hilux we would not want our own details to be found in such a fashion but I don't think GoPies was expecting this to happen.

As already noted, I found the site itself very easily through Google.

Maybe people who discovered the site already could email a link to any one they know who may have or have just purchased a Surf or in fact any Toyota 4WD. The more the merrier. :D

I think it already happens that way.

As for "GoPies", I did a Google on that and found "Gopies" are young naked virgins that have had their clothes stolen by Krishna whilst swimming in a pool.

I found the site after watching a mechanic smash my glow plug fuse trying to pull it before we realised you push it out of the bottom (after dismantling the fuse box). Thought there must be a site that I could get info from. This site has all info you could ever need. Brilliant.

I found this site googling for 4runner (5 years ago) but it seemed that it was more full of question than answers but as the site grew and changed formats and the experience of members grew, this site has become very very informative. With new members asking a wide cross section of questions and seeing the replies being more informative and specific and quick, this site has set a standard that is very high.
I have started to do research for my next car and have yet to find a site that matches the helpful culture of this site.
